SORGOI PRAKOV DIRECTOR'S CUT

A journalist from an Eastern European country arrives in Paris to begin a tour of European capitals and thus make a documentary on the "European dream" in the form of a filmed travel diary, a vlog before its time. No cameraman. No sound recordist. Sorgoï sails alone with his miniature cameras harnessed to his body. The first days in the capital are idyllic, worthy of the Paris of postcards.

But very quickly, Sorgoï is confronted with a series of misfortunes resembling a descent into Hell: camera theft, aggression, drinking, loss of his identity papers, and soon producers with absent subscribers. Without moral and financial support, Sorgoï loses everything, including his reason. He only has his little cameras, to which he clings to film increasingly extreme situations. His images then become unbearable, questioning what remains of his humanity.
